Born and raised in Los Angeles, Caitlin Cassidy has always had a passion for art, fashion, and most importantly, people. She is an artist by nature, a makeup artist by trade. She grew up painting and drawing and eventually went on to study fine art photography at UCLA before attending MUD to learn makeup and hair.
Through such influences as David LaChapelle, Terry Richardson, Diane Arbus, Helmut Newton, Gucci Westman, Way Bandy and Kevyn Aucoin; she has crafted a career that combines an intense devotion to film, advertising, and fashion. Along with being personable, intelligent and confident with a keen business sense, she adapts exceptionally well with the creative collaboration necessary for successful work.
Having worked with several A-list celebrities, models, and photographers, she has perfected the technique for flawless beauty. She has trained under acclaimed makeup artists; the late Paul Starr who was with Magnet Agency, Jake Bailey from the Wall Group, Spencer Barnes from Solo Artists as well as Michael Jackson’s Makeup Designer, Karen Faye.
She has also collaborated with internationally acclaimed Photographers; Ellen Von Unwerth, Patrick Demarcelier, Michael Elins, Montana USA and Jonathan Exley while working with such celebrities as Jessica Alba, Katie Cassidy, Paris Hilton, Marley Shelton, Rachael Taylor, Michelle Rodriguez, Rosario Dawson, Rose MacGowan and many more.
In 2011, Caitlin secured non-exclusive representation with Theta Creata Agency which has helped her to advance her career as a makeup designer/hair stylist. She is also a member of Agency Patty Bunch, The Hair and Makeup Artists Network and Big and Fancy Creative Coalition.
Her goal is to make people believe in their own beauty and helping them to achieve this is truly the greatest reward.
